You are on your back, your legs wrapped around his waist with the ankles crossed behind his back, your knees squeezing his ribs; he kneels between your legs. In the gi one hand holds his collar, the other his sleeve at the wrist. Three things hold it: the closed legs pulling him in, the collar grip pulling his head down, the sleeve grip denying him a post — with your hips at an angle, not flat. If his posture breaks — the broken-posture branch: arm trap with a leg over the shoulder, rubber, gubber or high guard, collar attacks; if he sits up straight — attacks on his hands on your hips, belt or lapel and on his forward weight; if he stands — sweeps on his heel weight or forward lean. He wants to posture up, pin your hips and open your legs; the beginner mistake is lying flat with legs closed, waiting.
