You sit astride his torso, knees on the mat by his sides, controlling his hips: a dominant top position with direct access to chokes and armlocks. Your weight is on his hips, not on your knees; your hands stay free to post when he bridges or to attack his arms and collar. It is a step up from side control and knee-on-belly, one below the back: treat the climb itself as the win and let the finish follow once control is solid. Choose the variant by his arms: Low Mount to settle and stop the bridge, High Mount once his elbows are inside, S-Mount to isolate one arm, Technical Mount when he turns on his side. He bridges and shrimps to put a knee between you; keep your knees tight and your head over his chest so the bridge cannot throw you forward.
Pick a position, then select a technique to see its trigger and what it unlocks. Icon = type of move. Color bar: green position, navy move, red submission, black chained finish.
