Takedown · Judo Throws
A corner drop, a pure hand throw from the grip fight standing to side control, built on misdirection. Push him back so he pushes back into you and steps forward. As he steps, place your foot deep outside his front foot, lift the sleeve side so his other foot cannot land and he stands on one heel, then suddenly change direction: push him to the rear corner behind that heel while the other hand pulls straight down. He drops into the corner where there is no foot; straight back he would simply step and recover. There is no hip or leg contact, and timing on the foot still in the air decides it. Keep the sleeve so he can breakfall. If he steps the other foot back, osoto gari; if he pushes into you, o goshi.
Push the partner back; as they push back, throw: 8 slow throws each side on crash mats.
The partner falls backwards: hold the sleeve and let them breakfall.
Pick a position, then select a technique to see its trigger and what it unlocks. Icon = type of move. Color bar: green position, navy move, red submission, black chained finish.
